ArmInfo.  "We will continue efforts towards countering disinformation and dealing with challenges prompted by rapid technological progress,"  RA MFA Press Secretary Ani Badalyan wrote in her microblog on X. "On World Press Freedom Day, we reaffirm the strong commitment to media freedom as an  important component for upholding the rights of our citizens. 

With the same rational, we will continue the efforts towards  countering disinformation and dealing with the challenges prompted by  rapid technological progress. While we celebrate the fundamental  principles of press freedom, notable achievements have been recorded  by Armenia, including the advancement of 9 positions to 34th place in  2025 World Press Freedom Index, a clear testament to democratic  resilience and reform efforts," the press secretary stated.
