Armenian, Kazakh Tourism Committee Heads discuss cooperation

ArmInfo.  As part of a working visit to Kazakhstan, the Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, Lusine Gevorgyan, held a meeting with the Head of the Tourism Industry Committee of Kazakhstan, Nurtas Karipbayev.

The parties talked about enhancing collaboration in the tourism  industry, implementing investment projects, and developing tourism  products. They emphasized the importance of developing bilateral  tourist routes and promoting joint initiatives in the global market.   The Tourism Committee of Armenia is confident that joint efforts will  lead to the implementation of new initiatives, a rise in tourist  numbers between the two countries and the enhancement of  business  ties.  It should be noted that according to the RA Statistical  Committee, in 2024, 10,236 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Armenia,  marking a 4.2% increase from the previous year.
