ArmInfo. The delegation headed by Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili will arrive in Armenia today on an official visit.
As reported by Georgia's First Channel with reference to the press service of the Georgian presidential administration, Kavelashvili will be met at the Zvartnots International Airport by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachaturyan.
As part of the visit, the Georgian President will meet with the Armenian President at the palace. Meetings between Mikheil Kavelashvili and Vahagn Khachaturyan are planned in person and in an expanded format, after which the presidents of the two countries will make joint statements for the media.
As part of the official visit, Kavelashvili will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
The Georgian delegation includes: Head of the Presidential Administration Ketevan Kvinikadze, Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Georgi Volski, MPs Samvel Manukyan, Sumbat Kyureghyan and Advisor to the President on Foreign Relations Luka Ekhvaya. It should be noted that the first official visit of the Georgian President took place in Azerbaijan on March 16.
