ArmInfo.Today, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) and the German Embassy in Armenia.
As reported by the press service of the Museum-Institute, the memorandum was signed by Edita Gzoyan, the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, and the German Ambassador to Armenia, Claudia Busch. The signing took place following the visit of the German President to Armenia. "The memorandum of cooperation includes the translation and publication of the Armenian Genocide Museum's audio guide of the into German with the support of the embassy, as well as the translation and publication of the museum illustrated album into German," the institution said in a statement. Edita Gzoyan thanked the Ambassador, noting that this cooperation will enable German-speaking visitors to the museum to access quality information about the Armenian Genocide. She also presented the Ambassador with a book in German entitled "Humanism and Christian Compassion: The History of German Missions among Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in 1896-1919" written by Hayk Martirosyan, a former AGMI research fellow and currently a research fellow at Lepsiushaus.
The Ambassador thanked the Director of AGMI for the warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of the established cooperation.
