ArmInfo. During the discussions on the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia, the opposition and pro-government parliamentarians deviated from the topic under discussion and once again began to accuse each other of all mortal sins. During the speech of the head of the ruling Civil Contract parliamentary faction in the country, Hayk Konjoryan, and the NA deputy from the opposition Armenia faction, Gegham Manukyan, an argument arose.
The latter accused the ruling political force of lying and manipulating facts. The NA Chairman Alen Simonyan also responded to this, actively defending the ruling party. Simonyan noted that there is more than serious discord within the Armenia faction itself. This did not please the secretary of the faction, Artsvik Minasyan, who accused Simonyan of bias. The situation gradually began to escalate, but instead of defusing it, the speaker switched to informal address with the opposition, which angered them even more. The situation worsened so much that it escalated into a fight between the opposition and ruling party deputies. Simonyan announced a 20-minute break and ordered the live broadcast to be stopped.
