Expert in Azerbaijani studies: Azerbaijan`s Public TV presents  Armenia as "Western Azerbaijan"

ArmInfo.  Azerbaijan's state run "Az.TV" has launched a series of films that depict the territory of Armenia as "Western Azerbaijan", as reported by Tatevik Hayrapetyan, an expert in Azerbaijani studies, on her Telegram page. 

As the  expert noted, this decision was made by the National  Television and Radio Council of Azerbaijan.  The first part of the  film series  contains a statement about the "betrayal of Armenians on  the territory of the Yerevan fortress".  In this vein, the expert  pointed out that Azerbaijan's new attempts to falsify history are  happening in parallel with negotiations between Armenia and  Azerbaijan regarding the signing of the so-called "peace treaty".

"I want to show how actively our neighbors are preparing for "peace",  demonstrating their plans of conquest against our state through  dangerous propaganda at the state level. This can only be prevented  through intelligent  and organized efforts," Hayrapetyan noted.
