ArmInfo. Armenia's Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meymaryan and the representative of the Armenian office of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), Nanna Skau, have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote environmental initiatives in local communities in the country.
As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Environment, this memorandum aims to enhance biodiversity preservation and promote sustainable ecosystems in communities through the collaborative efforts of the parties. By signing the memorandum, both parties express their commitment to developing specific action plans in the future, based on available resources and mutual agreements that will be jointly developed.
The department reported that the memorandum will be in effect until December 31, 2026, and includes provisions for regular consultations to monitor program progress, analyze results, and adjust strategies accordingly.
