ArmInfo. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin held a phone conversation with Armenia's Special Representative for the Normalization of Relations with Turkey, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ruben Rubinyan.
As reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian side reaffirmed its willingness to continue contributing to the process of finding a common ground between Yerevan and Ankara, as the improvement of Armenian-Turkish relations is an important factor for the stability and sustainable development of the South Caucasus. Rubinyan informed about the latest developments in the process of normalization between Armenia and Turkey.
"Several issues on Russian-Armenian relations were discussed, as well as cooperation in the South Caucasus region, including within the framework of the 3+3 Regional Cooperation Platform (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia plus Russia, Iran, Turkey)," the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized, adding that the views were exchanged in a constructive atmosphere.
