ArmInfo. A delegation led by Slovenian Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Tanja Fajon visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, where they paid tribute to the memory of the holy martyrs.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Tanja Fajon laid a wreath at the memorial, then the members of the delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. Director of the Genocide Museum-Institute Edita Gzoyan presented the guests with the history of the three khachkars erected on the territory of Tsitsernakaberd in memory of Armenians killed during the late 20-th century massacres organized by the Azerbaijani government in Sumgait, Kirovabad and Baku. The delegation then toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, where they explored both permanent and temporary exhibitions. Following the tour, the head of the Slovenian Foreign Ministry left a message in the in the Museum's Book of Honorary Quests.
