ArmInfo. The Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Armenia will be held in Yerevan on April 18-19.
As ArmInfo was informed by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Armenia, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture will be held on April 18 at 16:00 at the Moscow cinema. From April 10-19, the cinema will screen the best Kazakh feature and animated films. During the Days of Kazakh Cinema, the Armenian viewer will have the opportunity to watch the historical drama "Kazakh Khanate. Golden Throne" as well as films like "Stop, Night", "Time of Patriots", and "Berkut". Young viewers can enjoy the animated film "Why does a swallow have horns on its tail?" Screenings will take place on two days at 16:00 and 19:00.
As part of the Days, an important event for both countries will take place on April 19 in the morning at 10:00 in Yerevan, Avan district, Almaty Street 5/5. The official opening ceremony of the park named after the great thinker, public educator and founder of Kazakh written literature, humanist, Abai Kunanbaiuly, will be held. Representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the Yerevan City Hall will be in attendance. The event will feature a concert program, elements of national culture and traditional dishes of Kazakhstan.
The Gala Concert on April 19 at 19:00 at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall will be a highlight of the Days. The event will showcase honored cultural figures, masters of art and popular artists from both countries. The best musical and dance works of modern art of Kazakhstan will be presented to the audience. the embassy said in a statement. Admission is free for those who want to experience the rich cultural heritage of the friendly people.
