French FM urges Azerbaijan to sign a peace treaty with Armenia and  release all detained Armenians

ArmInfo. French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean- Noel Barrot called on Azerbaijan to sign a peace treaty with Armenia and release all detained Armenians.  Barrot has made this statement ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg.

"As for Azerbaijan, I am very worried about the rising tensions on  the border. I hope that the European mission deployed on the ground  can be expanded to better observe and contain these tensions. The  peace treaty must finally be signed, and the arbitrary detainees and  captives must be released,"  the French Foreign Minister noted, whose  words were quoted by French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier  Decottignies on his X.
