U Delegation alerts its partners to a potential phishing attempt

ArmInfo. The EU Delegation has alerted its partners to a potential phishing attempt, given that they impersonated the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos, during the attacks, as noted in the statement of the EU  Delegation to Armenia.  "The EU Delegation warns its colleagues of a  possible phishing attempt, emphasizing that they may be targeted-lthough no such incidents have been reported among them. Phishing is a type of cyber attack in which perpetrators attempt to deceive victims into revealing sensitive information by posing as a trusted source- in this instance, impersonating the EU Ambassador. The EU Delegation itself was not affected; it is sharing this information after learning of a case involving a third party," the EU Delegation to Armenia said in a statement.
