ArmInfo. Attempts to draw dividing lines in the South Caucasus will not be successful. According to Azerbaijani media, this was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a forum at ADA University.
According to him, Azerbaijan's signing of declarations on strategic partnership with many countries has allowed it to play an important role as a geographical, political, economic and transport bridge between the Central Asian region and Europe.
Aliyev added that countries wishing to establish cooperation in the South Caucasus understand that they will not be able to bypass Azerbaijan. "Although there are those in Europe who would prefer to separate Azerbaijan not only from this process, but also to draw dividing lines in the Caucasus, especially in the South Caucasus. But these attempts will not be successful," he said.
