Armenian MFA`s response to Artsakh issue antinational - opposition MP

ArmInfo. Levon Kocharyan, a member of parliament from the opposition faction "Armenia", called the reaction of the Armenian Foreign Ministry on the Artsakh issue  treacherous and anti-national.

"It is difficult to characterize this reaction of the Foreign  Ministry as anything other than treacherous and anti-national,"  Kocharyan wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry, in response to a request from  Radio Liberty, stated that during negotiations with Azerbaijan,  Armenia seeks to ensure the security and rights of the Armenians of  Nagorno-Karabakh, including the creation of an international  mechanism to resolve these issues. 

The Armenian Foreign Ministry added that attempts to organize  meetings of representatives of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh in  third countries, which were rejected by Nagorno-Karabakh, were also  aimed at this. "After the publication of the decree on the forced  displacement of Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh and the dissolution of  Nagorno-Karabakh, this issue was removed from the agenda of the  settlement of interstate relations between the Republic of Armenia  and the Republic of Azerbaijan," the Armenian Foreign Ministry  stated.
