ArmInfo. The play "Manouchian: Afternoon, at 15:00" was shown at the French theater "Toboggan" (Decines-Charpieu). The play is based on the story of the interrogation of Misak Manouchian and other members of the French Resistance - Marcel Rayman, Joseph Davidovich, Spartaco Fontano and Olga Banchik - by French police.
The author of the play is Chochana Boukhobza, and the director is Sate Khachatryan (French theater union Sate-Atre).
The next performance will take place at the theater in the French city of Vichy. In Armenia, those who wish will be able to see the play "Manouchian: Afternoon, at 15:00" on April 11 and 25 at the Artashat Drama Theater named after Amo Kharazyan. Let us recall that the play was first presented in Armenia as part of the International Francophonie Day on March 14 at the Amo Kharazyan Artashat Drama Theater.
The title of the play was not chosen by chance - in the afternoon, at 15:00, Misak Manouchian and his comrades were shot. The public knows about this from Manouchian's suicide letter to his wife Melina.
Misak Manouchian was the leader of the armed French resistance against the Nazis during World War II. He headed the "Free Shooters and French Partisans" - one of the sections of the Resistance, consisting mainly of immigrants from Hungary, Romania and Poland.
