EP  commends Armenia`s efforts to complete peace treaty with Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. Two documents were put to a vote in the European Parliament - the annual report on the Common Foreign and Security Policy in 2024, prepared by MEP David McAllister, and the Common Security and Defence Policy in 2024, authored by MEP Nicolas Pascual de la Parte.

Both documents make references to Armenia. The reports, in particular, confirm the principled position of European parliamentarians on Armenia. The documents commend Armenia's efforts to complete the peace treaty with Azerbaijan. They also include a call for Azerbaijan to protect the Armenian cultural and religious heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh and release 23 Armenian hostages. MEPs are urging for the punishment of all those who threaten Armenia's territorial integrity.-
