Miasnutyun opposition bloc wins Parakar elections 

ArmInfo. The opposition bloc "Miasnutyun" ("Unity") wins the elections to the Council of Elders of the enlarged community of Parakar.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, the bloc, which  includes the parties "Country for Life" and "Victory", according to  preliminary data, is gaining 6,508 votes. In second place is the  ruling party in Armenia "Civil Contract", which receives 3,669 votes,  in third place is the "National Progress" party (900 votes), in  fourth place is the "Kayunutyun" ("Stability") party - 426 votes. The  total number of voters is 21,004 people, the total number of  participants in the vote is 11,528 people.

The winner of the elections in Parakar, the candidate from the  "Country for Life" party Volodya Grigoryan, thanked the residents of  Parakar. "Dear residents of the Parakar community, thank you for your  trust. I assure you that together we will build the community of our  dreams," the mayoral candidate noted.

Taguhi Tovmasyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic  of Armenia from the opposition faction "I have the honor," addressed  the leaders of the bloc: "Congratulations, gentlemen, on your  impressive victory over the ruling Civil Contract party, a victory  that has been dragging on for three years.  Residents of the enlarged  community of Parakar, you have restored justice, bravo!"
