


ArmInfo. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, the high-ranking guest was met at the Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport by Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Armen Pambukhchyan.
As ArmInfo reported earlier, in Armenia, the federal president will meet with President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, visit the TUMO technology education center and take part in a cultural reception.
On the second day of his stay in Armenia, the federal president will travel to Dilijan, where he will communicate with Armenian women entrepreneurs and get acquainted with the urban development program. The German President will visit the Lake Sevan Church and the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, which operates jointly with the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research. From Armenia, he will travel to Azerbaijan.
