ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the head of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, the Order of Alexander Nevsky; the corresponding decree was published on the legal information portal, RIA Novosti reports.
"For his great contribution to ensuring the activities of the Council for Interaction with Religious Associations under the President of the Russian Federation, award the Order of Alexander Nevsky to Archbishop Yezras, head of the centralized religious organization of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Diocese of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church," the document says.
