ArmInfo. The "I Have Honor" faction in the Armenian parliament will not participate in the upcoming sessions, where the removal of parliamentary immunity for their fellow party member and former mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, is on the agenda, as noted in the faction's statement.
"The faction will not participate in the upcoming sessions of the National Assembly, where the current leaders of the country are conducting another round of political persecution, which has been ongoing against Taron Margaryan, an MP from the "I Have Honor" faction and a member of the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), for almost seven years. The RPA Executive Body's political assessments of the actions of the law enforcement system of Armenia, which has become an instrument for suppressing political opponents, were given in the statements issued on March 12 of this year and in several other statements," the statement of the opposition faction reads.
