Azerbaijani occupation forces destroyed cemeteries in five Artsakh  villages

ArmInfo.  Azerbaijani occupation forces have destroyed cemeteries in five villages in  Artsakh.  As reported by the Research on Armenian Architecture  Foundation, the Azerbaijani side has destroyed the cemeteries in the  villages of Avetaranots, Jragatsner, Zardanashen, Madatashen and  Sargsashen.  "Satellite images from March 2025, show that most of the  tombstones in these cemeteries disappeared in 2024. The extent of the  damage is not clear from the photographs," the Foundation noted in a  statement.

Recall that back in the summer of 2024, in its 7th report on the  situation around Artsakh, the Caucasus Heritage Watch (CHW)  organization reported a 75% increase in the  destruction of Armenian  heritage in occupied NKR territories  by Azerbaijan, and a 29%  increase in the number of objects classified as under threat.
