ArmInfo. Trucks with Armenian humanitarian aid for friendly Syria have headed to the Margara checkpoint on the Armenian-Turkish border. This was reported by local media.
It is noted that the humanitarian aid includes food, medicine, hygiene items, and other essential items.
As ArmInfo previously reported, the Armenian government decided at a meeting on March 20 to send humanitarian aid to Syria. To this end, the Armenian authorities opened the inactive Margara checkpoint on the border with Turkey from March 21 to 31. It is noted that it will be more cost-effective to send this aid to the brotherly Syrian people by land through Turkey.
