The Council of States of Switzerland adopts a motion urging the  country`s authorities to establish a dedicated forum for dialogue  between Artsakh and Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. The upper house of the Federal Assembly of Switzerland (the Council of States)  adopted Motion No. 24.4259 titled "Peace Forum on Nagorno- Karabakh: Enabling  the Return of Armenians." This was reported by Artsakh Ombudsman  Gegham Stepanyan.

"29 out of 46 members voted for the initiative urging Swiss  authorities to establish a dedicated forum for dialogue between  representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan," the NKR  Ombudsman noted.  In December 2024, the lower house of the Swiss  parliament adopted a resolution calling on the government to organize  an international conference dedicated to the peaceful settlement of  the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
