Format of relations with Yerevan remains unchanged - CSTO Sec Gen 

ArmInfo. The CSTO maintains working contacts with Yerevan.  This was stated by CSTO Secretary  General Imangali Tasmagambetov in an interview with Izvestia.

"We maintain working contacts with Yerevan. I would like to emphasize  once again that the Republic of Armenia remains an ally, the  organization's obligations towards the country remain. As for the  signals of readiness to resume cooperation with the CSTO, the format  of relations has not changed and remains the same," Tasmagambetov  said when asked whether Armenia has recently signaled its readiness  to resume cooperation with the CSTO.

Armenia is boycotting events held within the framework of the CSTO.  In February 2024, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that  Armenia had practically frozen its participation in the CSTO, since  the Organization did not fulfill its obligations to the Republic of  Armenia, which could not remain without consequences. On September  18, 2024, at the Second World Armenian Summit, Pashinyan stated that  the CSTO poses threats to Armenia's security, its continued  existence, sovereignty and statehood.
