ArmInfo. Azerbaijan's demands to amend the country's Constitution are hindering constitutional reforms in Armenia, as stated by Arman Yeghoyan, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Committee on European Integration, at a joint briefing with Nils Usakovs, a Member of the European Parliament, on February 25.
According to him, representatives of Azerbaijan, are well aware of Armenia's reaction to these demands and are attempting to impede constitutional reforms in the country. He emphasized that 15 out of the 17 articles of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan have already been fully agreed upon. The only remaining issue to resolve is related to two articles, that have no connection to the Constitution of Armenia.
