ArmInfo. Another case of violence against ambulance workers occurred on Leo Street in Yerevan last night. This was reported on his Facebook page by the press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs Narek Sargsyan.
In particular, he said that two men - a 37-year-old resident of Armavir and a 20-year-old resident of Metsamor - called an ambulance because they felt unwell while intoxicated, and then got into an argument with the medical workers.
As a result, the latter were detained and taken to the police station. During a personal search of the men, yellowish-greenish masses were found.

In this regard, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan condemned the incident, noting that the use of force and violence against medical workers is a gross violation of the law and unacceptable behavior. She expressed confidence that such behavior will be given due legal assessment and public condemnation. "And I will be consistent in this regard," Avanesyan emphasized.
This is the second case of beating a medical worker in Armenia in a week. The first occurred in the village of Azatan in the Shirak region, when a patient attacked a paramedic who arrived on call, as a result of which the medical worker was hospitalized.
