Summer call-up to begin in Armenia on Apr 14

From April 14 to July 31 inclusive, conscription for compulsory military and alternative service will be carried out in Armenia for those male citizens who  will turn 18 years old by June 30, 2025 inclusive, as well as those  citizens whose right to a deferment from conscription expires on June  30 of this year inclusive.

As stated in the draft decision posted on the unified portal of legal  acts e-draft.am, as part of the summer conscription of 2025, women  who submitted an application for compulsory military service as a  private by March 1, 2025 will also be called up for compulsory  military service as a private.

As part of the summer conscription of 2025, private servicemen who  have completed compulsory and alternative military service within the  established time frame will be demobilized by July 31, 2021  inclusive.

"As part of the summer conscription of 2025, the recruitment of  citizens called up for compulsory military and alternative service of  privates into the Armed Forces shall be carried out from June 23 to  July 31, 2023 inclusive. Within the time period established by law,  demobilization of servicemen who have completed compulsory military  service or alternative military service of privates shall be carried  out from June 26 to July 31, 2023 inclusive," the document says.
