Armenian Cinema Foundation, Eurimages reps discuss potential for  joint regional film projects

ArmInfo. Director of the Armenian Cinema Founation David Banuchyan met with Roberto Cicutto,  the President of the Council of Europe Euroimages fund, and Executive Director Susan Newman.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the need to enhance  cooperation between the structures, noting the importance of its  continuity. They also highlighted the significance of implementing  joint projects among the countries of the region to facilitate  cultural exchange and boost interest in regional cinema.  During the  meeting, Banuchyan presented new programs and upcoming projects of  the Armenian Cinema Fund to his European colleagues, He also  discussed favorable changes in the legal field aimed at developing  the film industry.

Note that Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of  Europe, consisting of  38 countries. It has been active since 1988,  with Armenia becoming a member  in 2016.
