Qatar simplifies labor permits for labor migrants from Armenia

ArmInfo.On February 13, the Armenian Cabinet approved the draft law <On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the State of Qatar on the regulation of labor activity of citizens of the Republic of Armenia in the territory of the State of Qatar>.

As part of the agreement signed on September 10 in Yerevan between  the Minister of Labor of Qatar Ali bin Samih Al-Marri and the  Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan, the  Government of Armenia undertakes to take all necessary measures to  facilitate the receipt of exit permits for Armenian citizens wishing  to work in Qatar and to undergo medical examination procedures.

In addition, the Government of Armenia will ensure that Armenian  citizens have a job offer signed by a Qatari employer before leaving.
