In this way, he decided to refresh the memory of the speaker of the Armenian legislative body, Alen Simonyan, who on February 11, in response to a question from an Artsakh journalist about when they would be able to return to their homeland, said that they should have "stayed and fought to the end, and not left this homeland."
"In response to Alen Simonyan's attack "stayed and fought," I am re-publishing the names of the fallen servicemen, militiamen and volunteers of the Artsakh Defense Army, who gave their last battle of honor on September 19-20, 2023," Manukyan wrote. The published list contains the names of 265 sons of the Armenian people who laid down their lives for the Motherland.
The officially recognized losses of the Azerbaijani side during the aggression against Artsakh on September 19-20, 2023 amounted to 205 people killed, the number of wounded of varying severity exceeded 500 people. At the same time, according to unofficial data, over 1,000 enemy soldiers died in this battle.
