ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin  was a in recognizing Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, as stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, to journalists in parliament on February 11.

According to him, shortly after (the day of signing the  trilateral statement - ed.), Vladimir Putin stated that  Nagorno-Karabakh is an internationally recognized territory of  Azerbaijan. He reiterated this in December, and later reaffirmed it,  he added.  In this regard, he pointed out that blaming the Armenian  authorities for the fact that this happened after the recognition of  Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan is an attempt to avoid (their  responsibility - ed.).    Alen Simonyan concluded.
