This information was reported to ArmInfo by Ani Badalyan, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, in response to an inquiry regarding reports in the Armenian media suggesting that the Armenian-Turkish border may open on March 1.
"There has been no progress in opening the Armenian-Turkish border. If there are any developments, we will provide updates," Badalyan noted.
Earlier, NEWS.am had reported, citing a reliable diplomatic source, that the Margara checkpoint on the Armenian-Turkish border is set to open on March 1. Additionally, the checkpoint will be secured by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
