ArmInfo. From now on, tourists landing in Armenia will be greeted with the music of the outstanding Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian. The Tourism Committee has reached such an agreement with Armenian air carriers, and similar discussions have taken place with European airlines. This was announced by the Chairperson of the Tourism Committee, Lusine  Gevorgyan, during a press conference on February 7.

In addition, discussions are underway with airlines regarding the  launch of about 10 new direct flights to European, Asian and Arab  cities. There are also talks about transferring some flights to the  Gyumri airport . In this regard, she noted that the Committee  intends to develop Gyumri as an important tourist destination in this  way. Gevorgyan also mentioned negotiations with the management of  Zvartnots airport, where issues related to creating a transit zone,  increasing the frequency of daytime flights, and other matters were  discussed.
