ArmInfo. The issue of Artsakh and the Armenian hostages held in Azerbaijan is high on the agenda of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA), as stated in in ANCA's microblog on Twitter (X). "Help us hold Azerbaijan accountable, aid Artsakh refugees forging a pathway back to Artsakh, end Azerbaijani occupation of Armenia, and secure justice for the Armenian Genocide," the ANCA publication says.
It is emphasized that the ANCA stands foursquare for Artsakh's survival and Armenia's security, via an honest reckoning that holds Azerbaijan accountable for its crimes, starting with the release of Armenian hostages, removal of Azerbaijani forces from Armenian soil, and return of Armenians to Artsakh. " Artsakh Armenians violently driven from their homes by Azerbaijan's 2023 genocide have the right to safely and sustainably return to their indigenous homeland under an international mandate," the Organization emphasized. In this regard, the ANCA called on friends and allies in Washington at the 2025 International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit to join the global call for the return of ethnically cleansed Armenian Christians to their ancestral homeland in Artsakh, as well as to share their pro-Artsakh/Armenian priorities with Congress.
