According to her, the video from the website "Caliber.az", affiliated  with the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, once again distorts the  entire history of the region, with the goal of expressing territorial  claims not only to Armenia, but also to Iran. "This is not just  propaganda that could be ignored, it is official state policy. The  fact that Tabriz is presented as an ancient Azerbaijani city is also  reflected in Azerbaijani textbooks. The fact that the territory of  Armenia is presented as "Western Azerbaijan" can be found in  textbooks and on maps on official governmental websites," the expert  noted.

 She added that she believes that Azerbaijani leadership's  expansionist policy is a threat not only to Armenia, but also to  other countries in the region. "Armenia is simply a "convenient"  target. Aliyev does not risk making a fuss about Iran, but continues  to advance his agenda through various methods," Hayrapetyan wrote.
