Armen Sargsyan, founder of  Arbat battalion, killed in Moscow blast

ArmInfo. Armen Sargsyan, the head of the Boxing Federation of the self-proclaimed DPR and the founder of the Arbat battalion,  was killed during a blast in the "Scarlet Sails" residential complex in Moscow. This was reported by leading Russian federal media outlets, citing sources.

As Mash writes, the explosion in house No. 77 on Aviatsionnaya Street  occurred at about 09:45 in the morning. The bomb detonated in the  elevator lobby on the first floor. The power was 300-400 grams in TNT  equivalent. The windows in the lobby were knocked out and the ceiling  collapsed.  The source notes that security forces are considering an  assassination attempt as the main version of what occurred.  Preliminarily, Armen Sargsyan was the target.  In 2022, Sargsyan  founded the combat formation "Arbat" (Armenian Battalion) in  Gorlovka. He was 46 years old.
