Police detained three protesters near Armenian government building

ArmInfo. Police detained three protesters near the Armenian government building. It should be noted that a protest organized by small and medium-sized business representatives has been ongoing since the morning.  The Police used brute force against the detained protesters. One of the  detainees is public and political figure Vahagn Chakhalyan, who has been holding a  sit-in protest near the Armenian government building for several  weeks.

As it became known, a confrontation between protesters and law  enforcement officers occurred when the police demanded the citizens  to disperse. Thee police justified their demand by stating that a  state event was taking place in the area, and for security reasons,  the right to protest was being restricted.
