ArmInfo. It is too early to talk about the benefits received from the strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this on January 30 at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili.
According to him, this is due to the fact that the document has been in effect for only a few months. "But as for the Armenian-Georgian relations, which have always had a strategic nature, they are full of various examples of successful cooperation," Mirzoyan said.
In turn, Bochorishvili noted that the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations have a centuries-old history.
"And we have secured this centuries-old cooperation with a document on Strategic Partnership. And we are glad that it is called Strategic Partnership. This document is aimed at further deepening Armenian- Georgian ties across the entire spectrum of cooperation. We will stimulate our cooperation in order to best perform in the region and represent our bilateral interaction," the head of the Georgian Foreign Ministry said, expressing readiness to raise the existing partnership to a new level. It should be noted that on January 26, 2024, the Declaration on Strategic Economic Partnership between Armenia and Georgia was signed.
The document was signed in Tbilisi by the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Garibashvili.
