According to the source, citizens who are not included in the preferential groups and who have difficulties using the payment terminal can seek help from the ticket office staff from today. The ticket card will be activated within 3 hours after replenishment, the statement says.

On the Transport.yerevan.am website, you can view and choose the most affordable packages for yourself and your family, check the availability of benefits by entering the public service number and date of birth, thereby purchasing a new ticket package, attaching it to your transport or bank card, which has the ability to make contactless payments. To purchase a preferential package, you must register on the transport.yerevan.am website and go through online identification.
According to the presented draft of the city hall, children under 7 years old, orphans and half-orphans of school age (from 8 to 18 years old), orphans and half-orphans students, regardless of their place of registration, but receiving education in Yerevan, persons with disabilities of I and II categories, persons kept in orphanages, nursing homes, parents of large families (4 or more children), heroes of the USSR, socialist labor, national heroes of Armenia, holding the Order of the Combat Cross of I and II categories will be able to use public transport free of charge with the launch of a single ticket system (from January 1, 2025). Schoolchildren aged 8 to 18, beneficiaries of the Paros Foundation will receive a 20% discount, students - a 15% discount, and pensioners (who have turned 63) - a 30% discount.
From February 1, 2025, new fares for public transport will be applied in the capital of Armenia. For a single use in each vehicle, the cost of three trips will be 280-300 drams. From 880 to 900 drams for 1 day - 8 trips, 4800-5000 drams for 7 days - 30 trips. For an unlimited number of trips, the tariff will be 8800- 9000 drams for 30 days, 23,600-24,000 drams for 90 days, 88,000-90,000 drams for 365 days, a multiple- use ticket - 2100-2200 drams for 10 trips per month. Tariffs will apply to all types of public transport.
