Over 600 Armenian trucks at Upper Lars checkpoint 

ArmInfo. The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia  reports that there is a closed road in Armenia.

In particular, as the source notes, the road leading to Lake Kari and  the high-mountain weather station "Amberd" is closed.  Fog is  observed in the Ararat region.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal  Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry  of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the  Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.

Meanwhile, according to a message from the Traffic Organization  Center of North Ossetia, 1,773 trucks are in line to pass through the  "Upper Lars" checkpoint, 682 of which are Armenian.

The road through Lars on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the  international highway Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars is open to all  vehicles.

The Upper Lars checkpoint is the only land route connecting Armenia  with the Russian Federation.
