Aparan to be Armenia`s youth capital next year 

ArmInfo. In 2025, the city  of Aparan will become the youth capital of Armenia. The ceremony of  handing over the symbolic key from Gavar to Aparan took place with  the participation of Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture  and Sports of Armenia Artur Martirosyan, as well as representatives  of the local authorities.

He noted that this initiative has been implemented since 2014 and is  aimed at activating public life and realizing the potential of young  people.

The Deputy Minister also informed that the government approved the  law "On Youth Policy", noting that public hearings will then be held  in the National Assembly.

"We expect that after the adoption of the law, the activities of  youth centers and their employees will become more effective and  significant, both for community leadership and the public,"  Martirosyan said.
