ArmInfo. On December 5, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Claudia Busch.
As reported by the Chancellery of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin, congratulating the ambassador on her appointment, the Catholicos wished her a successful mission to further strengthen the ties between the two peoples.
The Patriarch expressed satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation between the two countries. The Catholicos said that he would pray that conflicts in the world would cease and that peoples would not experience the same pain and suffering that the Armenian people had to face during the war unleashed by Azerbaijan.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, the ambassador assured His Holiness that she would do everything possible to further strengthen friendship and develop relations between the two countries.
During the conversation, the programs of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin aimed at solving the social problems of Armenians forcibly displaced from Artsakh, as well as the existing close cooperation in the inter-church sphere, were also mentioned.
