Turkiye expects progress in negbotiations to result in  Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement

Turkiye expects and  wishes that positive changes in the negotiations between Azerbaijan  and Armenia will lead to the conclusion of a peace treaty that meets  the interests of all parties in the region. This is stated in the  statement adopted following the meeting of the National Security  Council of Turkey chaired by Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 

As Anadolu notes, the latest situation around Ukraine was discussed  at the NSC meeting, and the possible influence of international  processes on the course of the solution to the problem was  considered. The NSC members emphasized the importance of preventing  the tendency towards escalation of the war, as well as achieving an  immediate ceasefire and a fair peace. The latest processes in Syria  and the Gaza Strip were also discussed.
