Armenia has not paid its share to CSTO for two years - Alexander  Pankin 

ArmInfo. Armenia may have a debt for contributions to the CSTO and not pay it for two years, now there is a debt for 2024, the term will expire at the end of 2025.   This was stated to RIA Novosti by Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry  of Foreign Affairs Alexander Pankin on the sidelines of the XVII  Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.

"Armenia may not pay this debt for two years. Then appropriate  decisions will be made", - Pankin warned.  As the Russian diplomat  noted, at the moment the country has a debt for 2024. According to  him, . , - the Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign  Affairs explained.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, touching upon the latest  statement by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that Armenia  already considers itself outside the CSTO, and therefore does not  participate in decision-making and document-making within the  organization, emphasized that no documents on withdrawal from the  Collective Security Treaty Organization had been received from  Armenia.

Pashinyan announced in February 2024 that Armenia had frozen its  participation in the CSTO. Armenia stopped making its contribution to  the organization's budget and sending representatives to the  organization's events and exercises.
