ArmInfo. The Armenian side has agreed to a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, in Malta with the mediation of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, as reported by Public Television of the Republic of Armenia, citing the RA MFA.
Earlier, Ani Badalyan, the press secretary of the Armenian MFA, stated that a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, is not planned within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Conference held in Malta. Meanwhile, today Azerbaijani media reported that Baku has refused the meeting, based on information from a diplomatic source. The reason for the refusal was Secretary of State Blinken's desire to act as a mediator in organizing the meeting.
