ArmInfo. The co-chairman of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France, Mourad Frank Papazian, has been awarded France's Highest Order of Merit, the Legion of Honor, by order of former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
As Papazian reported on his Facebook page, the order was given to him in recognition of his for more than 40 years of work for the benefit of Armenian-French relations.
The Order of the Legion of Honor was established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802. It is awarded to people who have made a significant contribution to various areas for the development of France. According to the media, the event was attended by approximately 300 guests, including politicians, businessmen and representatives of the Armenian community in France.
