Bus drivers go on strike 

ArmInfo.  Bus drivers serving  city routes in Yerevan have not shown up for work since the morning  of December 3.

However, in this case we are talking only about the drivers of  Yerevan Bus CJSC, who, having declared a strike, are demanding a wage  increase. Since early morning, there has been a crowd of citizens  rushing to work at city bus stops. City routes are served only by  Hyundai drivers, who transport overloaded passengers. The metro is  also operating in an overloaded mode.

The capital's municipality stated that it is aware of the existing  problem, and a corresponding statement from the Yerevan City Hall  will follow in the near future.
