ArmInfo. Arkady Tonoyan has been appointed as the Defense Attache of Armenia to India. The decision on the appointment was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. "Taking into account Part 9 of Article 10 of the Law "On Diplomatic Service", to appoint Arkady Tonoyan as the Defense Attache of the Republic of Armenia to India," the Prime Minister's decision states.
It also notes that the new Defense Attache will assume his duties on December 4, 2024 and his residence will be New Delhi.
It should be noted that in the past 2 years, India has become one of the main suppliers of weapons to Armenia.
