In light of current events in Lebanon, Armenian Ambassador held  meetings with country`s political and spiritual leaders

ArmInfo. In light of the current events in Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekyan, the Armenian Ambassador  to the country, held meetings with Lebanese political and spiritual  leaders.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Embassy in  Lebanon, meetings were held with the leader of the Maronite Church,  Patriarch Bechara Boutros al- Rahi, Gebran Bassil, the head of the  Free Patriotic Movement party, Walid Jumblatt, the leader of the  Progressive Socialist Party, Samy Gemayel, the chairman of the  Katayba party, and Suleiman Frangieh, the head of the Marada party.   The meetings discussed intra-Lebanese, regional and international  processes, existing security threats, as well as issues related to  Armenian-Lebanese cooperation.
