ArmInfo.November in the Armenian capital was marked by screenings of contemporary European films. The Union of Cinematographers of Armenia, with the financial support of the European Union, announced the start of the European Film Month in Yerevan, which is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Surrealist Manifesto, written by the French writer and poet Andre Breton; in 1924.
According to the press service of the organizers of the month, during November, in the large cinema hall of the Cinema House, those who wish will be able to watch European films that have won such prestigious awards as the Oscar, became laureates of the festival in Cannes, Locarno, etc. The month opened with a screening of the masterpiece by Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali (1929) in a new restored version.
The program includes a total of 10 films produced in 2024, which will be shown (during November) every Friday and Saturday at 19:00.
